Overview
Ybyrapora sooretama, sometimes called the Amazon Purple Sapphire Pinktoe, is a small, elegant arboreal tarantula native to Brazil’s endangered Atlantic Forest biome. It is a lightly built species known for soft purple undertones and graceful climbing behavior.
Smaller and more delicate than its Avicularia cousins, Y. sooretama thrives in tall enclosures with high humidity and rich vertical cover. It is ideal for keepers who appreciate calm, visible arboreals and rare genus representation in their collection.
