Shipping Policy

1. Order Processing
Invert-Labs LLC ("Invert-Labs") is dedicated to efficiently processing your orders. Orders are typically processed within 1-3 business days from the date of purchase, excluding weekends and holidays. Processing times may increase during periods of high volume or seasonal demand.

2. Shipping Methods and Carriers
Invert-Labs primarily utilizes reputable carriers such as FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Carrier selection depends on package size, weight, destination, and customer selection during checkout.

3. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of your order. All shipping fees are clearly displayed at checkout. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout but may vary due to carrier delays, weather conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Standard Shipping: Typically arrives within 5-7 business days.

Expedited Shipping: Typically arrives within 2-3 business days.

Overnight Shipping: Arrives within 1 business day.

4. Live Animal Shipping
Live animals are shipped exclusively via priority overnight services to minimize transit times and ensure animal welfare. Live animal orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday only to prevent weekend delivery delays.

5. Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Customers will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once the order has shipped. Customers are responsible for monitoring their tracking updates and ensuring availability for timely receipt of the package, particularly for live animal shipments.

6. Delivery and Receipt of Live Animals
Invert-Labs requires that customers be present upon delivery of live animal shipments. Failure to promptly receive and properly handle live animal shipments voids the Dead On Arrival (DOA) guarantee.

7. DOA (Dead on Arrival) Policy
Invert-Labs guarantees live arrival of all live animal shipments under specific conditions:

Timeframe for Notification: Customers must notify Invert-Labs within two (2) hours of delivery, as indicated by the carrier’s timestamp.

Proof of DOA: Notification must include clear and detailed photographic evidence of the deceased animal, showing the shipping label and packaging in the same image where possible.

Conditions of Eligibility: DOA coverage applies only if the customer was available to receive the shipment on the first delivery attempt and if shipping was completed via our approved overnight method.

Resolution Options: If the DOA claim is verified and approved, Invert-Labs will offer one of the following at our discretion:

A replacement specimen of equal or similar value (if available)

A store credit equal to the purchase price of the specimen

A full refund (less shipping costs)

Exclusions: DOA coverage is void if:

The customer provides an inaccurate or incomplete shipping address

The package was left outside for an extended period

Delivery was delayed due to customer unavailability

Invert-Labs reserves the right to request return shipment of the deceased specimen.

8. International Shipping
Currently, Invert-Labs ships exclusively within the continental United States. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations.

9. Shipping Restrictions and Limitations
Invert-Labs does not ship live animals to states or regions where restrictions or bans are in place. It is the customer's responsibility to verify local laws and regulations regarding ownership and importation of animals prior to ordering.

10. Lost or Damaged Shipments
Invert-Labs is not liable for shipments lost or damaged by the shipping carrier. Customers should immediately contact the carrier to report any issues. Invert-Labs will assist in facilitating claims where necessary.

11. Address Accuracy and Changes
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping addresses. Invert-Labs will not be held responsible for delays, losses, or additional shipping charges resulting from inaccurate or incomplete addresses. Any address changes after an order is placed may incur additional charges and are subject to carrier approval.
